The Riot Riot series began as a study of hockey fights and quickly turned to s synthesis of sports violence and protest riots. Inspired by the current social climate of the United States, it aims to question the stereotypes of rioting and how media bias warps the true nature of these events depending on race, class, and political gain.
The series was originally presented at an exhibition at the Chiesa San Geremia in Venice, Italy and is comprised of digital illustrations printed on mixed media.
